5 Paid Insurance Inspections and the 6th is free!
You’ve finally found what seems to be the perfect home. It’s got all your must-haves and some of your nice-to-haves, too. It looks like it’s in excellent condition, but merely looking like it’s in good condition is not enough when it comes to such a huge financial decision.
To make sure you’re not buying a money pit, you need a professional home inspection delivered by Sunshine State's Best Home Inspection before you commit.
Sunshine State's Best Home Inspection will come to your home and look for specific factors that would make your home more resilient to a windstorm. Specifically, we will be looking at your roof and home openings such as doors and windows. We will examine these key safety features:
A wind mitigation report will cost $100. However, with minimal wind mitigation features in place, the inspection will pay for itself in the first year. Credits can go up to the maximum savings of 88% off the hurricane/wind premium.
This credit is good for five years. After that time, a new inspection will be required to make sure that you still qualify for these credits based on the new forms submitted by the Office of Insurance Regulation.
The 4-Point Inspection is often a required inspection in order to obtain (or maintain) home insurance coverage. The inspection requirements were designed by insurance companies in order to get a better understanding of the structure they are insuring. This is especially pertinent when insuring an older home. Older homes have had more time in which to have systems repaired or replaced or for things to potentially fall in to disrepair.
