I first came to Florida in 1986 from Western Pennsylvania. I worked on Marco Island and immediately fell in love with the area and its people. After graduating college, I moved back permanently in 1988. After living and working in Orlando, Ft Lauderdale and Boca Raton I came back to SW Florida in 2003. As a single father, I raised my 3 daughters in San Carlos Park where they all graduated Estero High School (Go Wildcats).

I have worked as a Licensed Florida Home Inspector for many years now and my passion is helping folks find and maintain a safe, sound, and comfortable Home.

I believe the Value that I can give a Client is the Education I have. I invest in myself continuously in attending Live Education classes and Association Meetings. Whether it be Infra-Red technology, Advanced Pool Inspections or Mold Testing. I am always maintaining the highest level of Training possible.

I understand the importance of identifying Defects, whether it be prior to a New Home Purchase, during an extended Vacancy of a Seasonal Home or during an Insurance Inspection. My Goal is to always serve the best interests of my Clients and I don’t take that lightly.

SAFETY & HEALTH PROCEDURES

Safety and health are top priorities for Sunshine States Best Home Inspection. To assure safe and healthy working conditions for ourselves and everyone involved in the real estate transaction (buyer, seller, realtor, etc) and to prevent contamination in the home, SSBHI asks for your cooperation to limit your potential for exposure to virus.

Our hands are washed frequently using CDC guidelines, which state this is one of the best ways we all can protect ourselves from getting sick.

To your home we bring sanitized indoor booties, tools and equipment. Disposable gloves and masks are used to prevent germ transfer between the home and Inspector.

During the Inspection we use disinfectant wipes on all door knobs, cabinet pulls, appliance controls, etc. to ensure clean surfaces.

At the conclusion of every Inspection we return the property to its original condition.

We suggest that Sellers leave for a few hours and that Buyers/Agents limit the number of people invited to the inspection and only come for the "summary & discussion" time at the end.
